Cricket Life Career of Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer is a 27-year-old bowler and has been in the field for the last decade. He showed his mettle from an early age. Consistently producing competitive standards, Jofra could have played any other sport with such commitment and enterprise. In fact, he tried many before settling on cricket. The young Archer had to give up many sports like football as well as hockey and golf before getting into cricket at a professional level. His best performance came in the 2018 edition of IPL when he took 12 wickets in the final against Mumbai Indians.

He was adjudged the man of the match in that particular match. He has also played for the Mumbai Indians team in the Indian Premier League. In all, Jofra has played 23 matches for the Rajasthan Royals and scored 435 runs with a batting average of 34.93. He also took 25 wickets with an average of 19.86. In the Sunrisers Hyderabad team, He played 26 matches and scored only 164 runs with an average of 14.23. However, he took 38 wickets at an average of 19.43. But his astonishing performance came out with Mumbai Indians.
